This public hearing was originally scheduled for January 13, 2021; however, due to the power outages in the Puyallup area and the lack of assurance that the public will have access to the virtual public hearing, the hearing was postponed to January 27, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
The Puyallup Planning Commission provides a recommendation to City Council regarding the application of city zoning to all properties within an annexation area. On January 11, 2021, the city also received a request for consideration of the Agricultural Overlay (AGO) zone for two specific properties within the annexation area.
At the Jan. 27, 2021 Public Hearing, the Planning Commission made the following recommendation to City Council:

The Planning Commission will review and provide a recommendation on a proposed "Freeman Road Overlay (FRO)" zone at their February 10, 2021 public hearing. Please see the meeting webpage for information on what will be considered and how to participate in the virtual public hearing.
