Washington State law provides for the use of interpreters to assist persons who cannot readily understand or communicate in English. The Puyallup Municipal Court has adopted a Language Access Plan which sets forth the Court's policy and procedures for the provision of language access services for those of limited English proficiency as well as for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind. Language access services include both interpretation and translation services.
If you have questions or need an interpreter, call (253) 841-5450 extension 8.
The below interpreter payment policy for Puyallup Municipal Court was revised and adopted March 30, 2018.
